Abstract: Continuously raising awareness of the issue of climate change helps to better understand it, but there is very little or no implementation of activities to mitigate the effects in practice. Therefore, it is important to collect data, perform analyses and studies in order to improve the existing situation. The paper provides an overview of the current condition caused by climate change with a focus on water resources in Bosnia and Herzegovina, possible consequences in the future and measures recommended to be applied as a means to minimize the negative effects.
