e-ZBORNIK is an electronic journal of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy of the University of Mostar.
This is the 28th issue of our Journal which contains papers in Croatian and English with topics related to the contribution of the research of Mostar miljevina with special reference to frost resistance, environmental footprints caused by the operation of open-pit mines and the possibility of multifunctional use of the occupied space, defining the optimal distance between technological sequences during tunnel excavation in poor rock mass, the Infantry Barracks from 1889 and the competition for a secondary city center at French Republic Square from 1977 - roles in the urban development of the western part of Zagreb and analysis of the burned area in Grebaštica using Sentinel-2 satellite imagery and vegetation indices.

Our journal is open access, and its content as well as the publication of papers for the authors are completely free of charge.

All received papers are reviewed by a double blind peer review and new papers are published twice a year in June and December.
As the editor in chief of the 28th issue of the e-ZBORNIK, I would like to thank the authors for the submitted papers as well as the reviewers and members of the editorial board for successful cooperation during the realization of this issue, and at the same time I want to invite the authors to submit papers for the 29th issue of our journal.
